Limited by main thread after patch?!
Seems that FPS still limited by CPU. My Ryzen 9 3900 idle around 20% and GFX load is 60% (flying the bush trip). Got onyl around 37-40fps ... Can anyone confirm?

Flying with Ryzen 7 3700X, MSFS on SSD and 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz, RTX2060 Super 8GB.

CPU seems to barely break sweat, around 20-30% load. GPU was at 100% with VSYNC at 60 FPS and poor choppy performance sometimes at 60 FPS fixed. 30 FPS was running fine.

Now running VSYNC off with frames unlimited reduces GPU load to sometimes 60-70% and then maybe 90% in heavy polygon count airports. CPU load is steady around 20-30%.

Overall this patch has worsened performance for me slightly, never had the choppiness before at all, even on ultra with VSYNC on 60FPS.

... Hmmm : changed some settings in nvidia driver (vsync / tripple buffering off) and turn vsync on in FS. Now stable ~55fps and limited by GPU (got an 'old' GTX 1080)
The "main" thread is still a thing. I still have one thread that sticks at 100%. I suspect that will remain a thing for a while. Hopefully they find a way to break it up. Overall utilization is fine and balanced, just one stubborn thread that stays capped.

Good to hear it's not just me. I have the same problem and was under the impression this was being fixed in this recent patch. 9900k @ 5.1, 25% utilization overall, 1 core pegged at 100%.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance after this patch...i went down to 20 fps...most of the time before 50 -70
