how well does the ai in the game land the planes

has anyone made the ai land a plane before

duh, I finally figured out how to get the AI to fly the plane. Drop down at the top of the screen. I was looking under Assists.

Set a GPS VFR flight of 60 miles to an ILS airport. Starting airport was 1300ft and landing airport was 500ft. She flew the route at 7Kft and along the way dropped to 2500ft. Then lined up with runway, got to 20 ft over the runway and kept going past the runway. About a 1/4 mile after if tried to land, hit the ground, bounced up and did a flip on the roof.

Restart: Same this time, she took off and went to 7kft along the route. This time I set the ILS numbers and turned on Nav 1. The AP was locked, couldn't change anything. It beeped as I got into range. She flew at 7kft all the way to the final approach this time. Did a spiral down after getting a clearance to land to a few hundred feet.

Landed just fine and parked, got credit for the flight.

I'm not sure turning on the ILS code did anything?
