I don't. 🤷♂️
Like others have pointed out though, a joystick really does make a difference. I plugged mine in and haven't gone back even with limited space on my bed while watching tv.
Anyway... summary, yes you can, try tapping but honestly you'll love yourself and the game a LOT more by using a controller.
Meh, I have an SN30 Pro+ from 8BitDo. Works with PC and Switch. For a flight sim I'd rather use my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick.
This sounds like a personal problem. There is no such thing as a "chill" sim. Simulators generally require some sort of synapse activity to both play and enjoy. I'm saying you get out of games what you put into it and if you aren't willing to put the two minutes of work into making a space for your joystick and throttle then (in the likeness of the Aspen Ski Instructor from South Park) youre gonna have a bad time....
Pretty chill compared to other games like shooters, especially if you're doing a longer route in an airliner. I've used games to chill, when I want to be doing something but don't want to go on an adrenaline rush.
Are you okay? lol
I kind of wish it did have a mouse yoke option though (like X-Plane and all the previous MSFS releases), as I like to keep my desk free myself.
