help.. Stuck on blue loading screen (at about 80%)

I've reloaded few times and it always get stuck on TBM static screen with blue bar on bottom.
I've also uninstalled and deleted all FS folders and reinstalled... is the same...

Also it takes many minutes to reach 80% (just after highway) and looking at my router internet connection, seems there's just few kb of traffic from time to time... so isn't really downloading anything big.

I don't have user name with special characters.... and windows is up to date....
ssd disk etc etc...
My internet connection is perfectly fine...

any suggestions?

I get stuck in the same place, because after uninstalling and reinstalling at the suggestion of Support after the Marketplace, visible other fliers and realtime weather stopped working, my installation is now incomplete. My blue bar stops just after the first tree to the right of the major highway on the TBM screen. I am now awaiting another response from Support.

The default location for the MSFS2020 files (not the steam files) is C:\users\(yourname)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator. That should contain 108gb of files if you have both expansions or around 90gb if you have the basic edition. I now have only 8gb there since the reinstallation failed. I suspect you will find something similar.

Unfortunately, from what I have read, we are not alone, despite the new patch. I have tried installing with my anti-virus and firewall temporarily suspended and also checked for anything else that may have been changed in my PC since my original installation. I'm sorry not to be able to offer any suggestions other than to contact Support, although I would also welcome any additional suggestions from others.

Hi, as mentionned in another post, same as for me. I tried "everything"... i'm still getting at the plane screen at 75/80% too...looking for any traffic (but nothing appears...as the apps is not working at all, even intensive processor workload).

Exactly... stuck between the hightway and trees....
And a lot of time to get there... minutes...

I had to delete everything and now I can't get thru....
Deleted data on profle/appdata/roaming/....
uninstalled on steam and reinstalled.... nothing...

tried to run as Admin....
reloaded multiple time...

I've tried to see for logs files.. nothing...
in system registry.... nothing....

Ok guys, I managed to pass into the download screen.

Basically, what I did was to create a new profile in Windows (a new account in your PC), with a normal name (try not to use special characters, the other account I used did not have any either but just in case..). Run steam and fs2020 from your new account in your PC, and first thing you'll notice is that it will try to connect to xbox app, and will ask you about your microsoft account.

After entering the user/pass, it passes me right into the download screen.

No idea what's the reason, I suppose has something to do with the Xbox app or microsoft login, but no clue what could be. Anyway, installing it from a new account seems to do the hack.

I'll try it out.... but really.... really... is dumb and wonder why after over 15 days isn't patched and there's no word by microsft

No idea... that was what worked for me, hope it works for any that have the same issue.

But yes, it's a shame it's not patched with all the cases around.

You saved me... litterally....
Don't know if, after install... I can switch back to main profile.... as is litterally non sense to have to make a profile because it doesn't load for whatever reason....

now i'm downloading.... I'll try to use old profile when it finish

glad to hear that! yep, I think there's no problem to come back to the normal profile, let's see if we can do it.
