I would buy this without Xbox Live login

I don't like making more and more accounts with every game I purchase. I would buy this if it wasn't for the mandatory login for Xbox live, which I don't use for anything else. Are there any others that feel the same?

Once you put in your info once, and register with MS once, you never see anything about MS or Xbox Live again, at least if you buy through Steam. You just hit the green Play box in your library, just like any other Steam game.

its not xbox live, it is a microsoft account. which you probably already have for all your other microsoft programs and services.

The first four didn't answer my question at all. I have no microsoft account for anything, sweetheart and I want it to remain so. I have a steam account and I would want that to remain the only account I have to use.

Well then too bad, you have to get one. Just like Origin, or Steam, or Ubisoft, etc. You also might have one and you just don’t know it, assuming you currently have windows.

And apparently nobody else really feels the same way.

No, but of those that have decided to speak, it apparently isn’t a big deal. Nobody wants an account for everything, but that’s just how it is. I don't like to have an xbox live account. But there is no way around. That game is deeply connected with the MS account. You will have to create one if you want to have MSFS.

I created one. That's ok.

But what I do not like it seems that I have to stay logged in in MS store with the account in order that MSFS boots. If I loggout in MSStore MSFS presents me an insert DVD splash screen!
( Thought I only tryed once..maybe I should try that again some time ..I hate to stay logged in anywere. Really don't like to be watched on every step I do in the net.)

I had to search to find that I've had a MS account for many years, had completely forgotten it, it's not like they spam you or anything. But by all means let that be your decision maker if you'd like

You don't need to be logged into an account to be watched on the Internet....

its not a big deal to be logged into the MS store. It doesn't do anything...

If you guys ever use google, apple, amazon, facebook or a smartphone then a MS account being logged in is the least of your concerns.

I am never logged into a MS account unless the game logs me in to play and then logs me out when the game closes...
