Steering is terrible...
I am not used to this kind of steering... Have crashed my plane multiple times on tutorial cause of that steering. Is there any way to change it so control surfaces will come back to it's original position?

Yeah, I'm using mouse and keyboard. Nothing can be done?

Well I tried it myself a while back and I couldn't figure it out. I tried KB\M for someone else so they would know how it behaved. And I gave up.

Maybe someone else knows.

Well, that's just weird :/
Thanks for into. Might wait with MFS until I get a joystic

For games like this I would say it's pretty much a requirement to use a joystick or at least a game controller.
A controller like the PS4 or XB1 controller will give you very twitchy controls since the tiny little thumbstick is to small for really precise control, but even a cheap Joystick should be a big improvment. You'd want to get a stick with a throttle and twist for best results.

KB&M sucks for flight sims, you're better off with a cheap joystick. Even a Xbox controller will give you a more enjoyable experience.

Numpad 5 key should reset the control surfaces back to centre positions from memory. Yeah, it seems a bit weird at first but it's basically like flying by trim alone.

Kinda got used to it. Can't imagine using controller for not having any reasonable ammount of keybinds.

You can have many more functions on a controller than it first appears with some smart programming. If you make the ABXY buttons mode shifts you can easily get in the region of 100 functions out of the remaining buttons on a controller.

You could also pick up a copy of Voice Attack. This will let you use voice commands for keybinds.
There's also nothing stopping you from using the controller for flying and the KB for other stuff.

i went to a controller but use the keyboard for other controls. deff want to invest in a good flight stick (sadly they are all hard to get rn) but going to the controller to steer etc made my experience much better.

Try to change your flight mechanics from Modern to Legacy. I find the legacy mechanics is more forgiving on keyboard because it simulates the way FSX does, and I've been able to use keyboard a lot easier in FSX than the modern mechanics use in this MSFS.

Otherwise, use an Xbox controller, or get a cheap joystick like the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, which also costs as much as an Xbox controller anywa.

I find the planes very difficult to control. seems the sensitivity is way to sensitive. Anyone else had similar issues?
