Guys need help with setting up the logitech wingman extreme digital 3d!!
So apparently on the outside of the box it's mentioned "works with windows 98, MAC" so will it not work with windows 10? On top of that it came with an installation CD! That's freaking obsolete! Please tell me that it works with windows 10! I got it off eBay! And it looks mostly unused as well!and please put a link for the software installation as well!

Forget the CD, just plug it into the USB port. Windows should automatically detect / download. If it doesn't, go to Logitech's website.

I'm playing with my own Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, works great! As long as it's the one that plugs in via USB, it should work.

Ok I haven't tried setting it up yet, by the way mine is the extreme digital 3d, is there a difference between this and 3d pro? And yes mine does have a USB connector.

This is from the official Logitech Support page:

Joysticks that work with Windows 8 and Windows 10
NOTE: These products aren't supported on Windows RT.

Attack 3 Joystick J-UG18 Yes Yes*
Extreme 3D Pro J-UK17, J-UF17 Yes Yes*
Flight System G940 J-U0001 Yes Yes*
Force 3D Pro J-UL19 Yes Yes*
Freedom 2.4 Cordless Joystick J-UE16, J-UH16 Yes Yes*
* Windows 10 software: Uses LGS 5.10.127 and later.

Your Digital 3D is not included in this list. So I don't think it's compatible with Windows 10.

This is a 22 years old product. I wonder how or why you got this particular product? Given that the Extreme 3D pro is the cheapest that you can find that's still in production.

Don't it will works with Win10. I am using Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas now to play the game.
Sincerely, its time for you to upgrade to something else.

Just. Try. It.

Doesn't hurt to try it, it either works or it doesn't.

Na it doesn't work, already tried it(albeit in a different laptop) made a sound for 3 seconds and then nothing, anyways no big deal ,maybe I'll just throw it away, too big of a thing to just have it lying around

My Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital 3D (M/N J-ZA10) just got pulled out of the closet and dusted off, and it works perfectly under Windows 10 Pro v2004 (build 19041.685). It's recognized as a WingMan Extreme Digital 3D (with an icon of a gamepad). Once calibrated, it's working great (including hat and twist axis).

Kb389 might have received a slightly different model, or one that is no longer functional. It's a product that has been on the market for a very long time. My own stick is pretty loose and has a button that no longer works. It's also pretty old, might just get a new one.

My 20 year old Wingman Force 3D works great in Windows 10. No force feedback in MSFS 2020 though. I did swap it out though for my Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold though to see if it would fix my autopilot induced crashes. I haven't had a single autopilot related issue since I swapped it out when World Update 2 was released. I think the force feedback properties were causing all of my autopilot issues. i find that odd since my Wingman worked great for the first two months.

I realised I was flying better with the ps4 controller so I just got rid of that.
