747 thrust won't decreace. locked throttle
I'm trying to land a 747 at my tiny home airport but I can'g get the jets to stop running at full blast. How do you decreace the throttle when it locks like this?

Check your controls on how to decrease the throttle -- remember you have 4 engines and your key needs to decrease throttle on all 4 engines.

I've the same problem, can't find the solution. You usually use F2 and F3 to control the throttle of all engines together, but sometimes it gets stuck and won't budge.

Next time that happens, check to see if the auto throttle has mysteriously engaged. That kept happening to me with the 787.

Same problem for me on 747 with an xbox one gamepad (no response of button A and B after 10 mns), F2 and f3 doesn't work anymore. Didn't try with my X52 pro yet.

I've had similar happen to me in the Cessna 172, but in this case the throttle became stuck in idle. Not too bad when you're on the ground, but it usually happened to me in the middle of a flight.

Check your MFD for the Autopilot status and the autothrottle, this link will give you some guidelines on the throttle modes of Boeing aircrafts:
