Citation Longitude - Cannot get engines up and running
Hi, after multiple attempts, it is not possible for me to get the engines of the citation longitude up and running. I tried it with the checklist assistent, manually, nothing happens, when i press the starter button. For a short time I can hear a sound but then nothing happens.

The APU is on and Bleed is norm.

Is this a bug since the latest patch?

Thanks.

After you have hit the starter button you need to wait for N2% (i hope it was N2) to be at 20 and than hit the engine run button right beside the starter.

I've been flying the Longitude a lot since the last patch and I've not encountered this problem, everything starts up from cold following the (non assisted) checklist. Try starting hot on the runway and reverse the list to shut everything down and then see if you can start up again in that mode. If that works then there's something strange going on for sure.

Just to make sure there's not an issue with the plane you can try the auto start, Shift-Ctrl-E. I'm not sure if I mapped the key or it's there by default. I believe you can also do this from the checklist and have the ai start it up for you. It does take time for it to spool up. I've learned the more a plane costs, the longer it takes to start up... strange how that works.

I seem to have to fiddle with the start buttons a lot more then I would think. And I try to follow the checklist to the letter. Figured it was just me but seems to take me 2-3 tries.

First, thanks for the hints. I followed exactly the checklist, tried it even with the auto complete feature. But the engines won't come up. And there is no change indicated in the monitor displays.

But luckily there are more planes to fly than the citation longitude. Starting hot from the runway is no option for me ;-)

I'm not sure how I got into the situation since it seems by default you usually have 50% fuel but a couple times I've had engines refuse to start with 0 fuel, I know it's vexing. I'm not sure why the plane didn't start with the default fuel level but this could be your problem. You might want to verify you have fuel.

just turn on Battery 1 and 2, Turn on APU wait for it to reach 100%, Right engine open guard and click run close guard. engage starter. you can disengage starter after N2 has reached 50%. repeat for engine 1
