Try doing some pattern work. You're always turning, climbing, descending, landing, changing airspeed, changing configuration, running checklists... lots of busy work.
Unfortunately there is no display indicator to tell you what the rate is.. I end up looking at the instrument clock which should speed up when you increase the rate. Just remember to decrease it to the normal level when you get to the destination airport otherwise landings will be impossible!
Point is if u want it to be relaxing make it relaxing, Otherwise plan routes and fuel up here and there and make many stops.
It's what you make of it.
Agree it's just amazing. and the fact you can copy and paste in coordinates and start anywhere ;-)
"mid-flight a bit boring?"
You're what's wrong with the world today.
I'm not going to go into anymore detail than that.
Think about it...
When I'm doing flights that last longer than 45 minutes total, I usually pop on youtube and watch some videos while my plane flies on. Also helps to have more than one screen. =P
+1 We are now separating the Men from the Boys, so-to-speak, or the casual gamer from the serious simmer.
Then you're just as bad as the OP. Enter a flight Simulator to simulate the experience of being a pilot and what do you do,..stick on a YouTube video. Jeeez. you people today.
In my defense I only stick it on after I've set the autopilot lmao
Sometimes.
