Can't click any buttons during flight
Any possible solution to this bug? (or at least are there ways to avoid it?)

If you are talking about where they say something like "press ctrl + alt +1" they mean ctrl and alt on your keyboard, but the 1 they are referring to is actually your 1 button on the joystick/controller and not a keyboard button. It's a really stupid and confusing thing.

do you mean you can't click on anything after you switch from external view to the cockpit..

Yes, but it's not limited to after switching to ext cam. It seems that it's a random bug. I tried to stay inside cockpit the whole flight but it's bugged during my final approach.

Open up the VFR map and shake it around the screen. As silly as it sounds, it works for me every time.

there will be a window this bug is associated with (for me it's usually the ATC window). Close it and reopen it and it should fix.
Thanks for all your solutions. I will try them out later <3

I've found a temporary fix for this if it happens to you. I haven't got a clue why it does it in the first place though(what triggers it) but this fixes it.

If you can't use your mouse in the cockpit(no scrollwheel or click anything) open up the camera box from the options bar at the top of your screen. Then place your cursor over the bottom of the camera box then press and hold down the left mouse button(Cursor will still be a single arrow). Then drag the cursor downwards as if you were trying to extend the box to make it bigger. Your cursor should then change to the double arrow extending the box. After that you should be able to click things/move mouse wheel as normal in the cockpit.

This has worked for me 3-4 times now so it should work for others too, which I hope it does because it's annoying when it happens in the middle of a flight.

It's a bug. Whenever you open the ATC window or the VFR map, mouse focus goes to that window. Sometimes after you close it (and even if it remains open) the focus doesn't return to the cockpit so it doesn't register any actions. That's why reopening the VFR or ATC windows and closing them again will fix it.

Always remember to do this while/if they fix it: Before clicking on the "X" to close those windows, click anywhere in the main view first (cockpit, external). That'll ensure focus is back to where you want it.
