Unless it's supported with some spring mechanism on the throttle hardware itself. Like Idle is on 25%, but when you push backward there's a spring mechanism that will give you some resistance for the reverse thrust. When you lift your pressure, it'll snap back to the 25% idle position by default (like a joystick). But pushing forward is just like normal.
I guess for now, we just need to remap that F2 and F1 to the hotas button somewhere.
Until then if anyone is really desperate I imagine you can do it with third party apps that can read your throttle input and send something else to FS2020 (ie AutoHotkey). Though it would probably be sending a repeated keypress for 'increase reverse thrust' rather than analog input.
i have a thrustmaster hotas 2 which i purchased ages ago just to get into flight sims and cant configure reverse thrust cannot even locate a key for it on the keyboard ?
i can operate it with the mouse but by the time i have looked down to where it is and operated it i have usually left the runway and in a field somewhere
Same same, Thrustmaster hotas
Cheers for that , i was unaware that F2 would operate the reverse thrust guess i should of looked at the keyboard settings
Anyway, maybe a few more training will makes me get used to it until PMDG and Aerosoft release their own aircraft for this sims.
