SLOW DOWNLOAD SPEED?

So i get 100mb/s download speed yet in the content manager it is only downloading at 2.8 mb/s/ meaning it'll take DAYS in order for it to download so has anyone got any fixes or information on why this is happening??

it's called Server bottlenecking. You can have the Bugatti Chiron of ISPs but that doesn't mean jack if thousands of people are pinging the same server for the game download. All you can do is wait it out or download at a later date.

it's pretty common yeah, all you can do is be patient. The download is specifically serverside.

Im in Australia and yes im getting 2.8mbps down it seems like a server cap. i have been dl for 36hr and have completed 36GB oh dear god this is a pain. FYI at a GB per hr thats 3.7 days

then the servers they inexplicably choose for the download are terrible as steam would have no issues

also it's writing/decompressing files to your pc......do u have ssd or hddpotato?

Follow this steps, they helped me a lot:

1- Open your windows CMD as Administrator



2- Enter this command and press enter:

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal



3- It will display an "Ok." when everything is done.

i got 2gb speeds and live next to a server. so i get good dl speeds. the line is definitely throttled. i should dl this game full in 5 mins or less. but it takes me 15 to 20 mins
