Instruments on 2nd Monitor
Whats the secret for multi screen fun. If there is no way to put out gauges and radios etc... on a send monitor that is going to kill this SIM... There is no immersion when I cannot use my home cockpit... Anyone discovered what to do?

think someone is going to have to develop something like that with the dev kit. We had all that stuff with FSX over the years. Someone is going to have to write that from scratch... I'm sure one day.

You can pop them out with the top left buttons.

I have to say, this is a total deal breaker for me. It is unconscionable not to have this.

And before anyone chimes it with "you can span multiple monitors", thats not what we are talking about. There needs to be an instrument-only view on one monitor and one (or more) out-the-windscreen view on another. This is a fundamental setup of home cockpits everywhere.

Yes you can open a select few instruments in their own window, but only select ones and they are non interactive (the G1000 doesnt have any buttons to click!). Moreover, they instrument panel/cockpit is still part of the main view!

I really thought this would be a no brainer "buy" but they are not getting may hard earned cash until it catches up to FSX.

So while you can pop them out and place them on a second monitor i get unbearable frame loss from 50-60 to 1-2 fps. Definitely a bug just wish they would work it out sooner rather than later.

But it is not possible with the floating Garmin Window ?

Does anyone know a software that will let you use your smartphone as a second monitor? like for VFR map etc.?

While an interesting option, it still doesnt eliminate the cockpit/instruments from FS's one and only monitor/window. We should'nt have to resort to 3rd part software and plugins just to get a screen configuration commensurate with what has been standard functionality in flight simulators for over 10 years.
