And before anyone chimes it with "you can span multiple monitors", thats not what we are talking about. There needs to be an instrument-only view on one monitor and one (or more) out-the-windscreen view on another. This is a fundamental setup of home cockpits everywhere.
Yes you can open a select few instruments in their own window, but only select ones and they are non interactive (the G1000 doesnt have any buttons to click!). Moreover, they instrument panel/cockpit is still part of the main view!
I really thought this would be a no brainer "buy" but they are not getting may hard earned cash until it catches up to FSX.
But it is not possible with the floating Garmin Window ?
You have to install a small plugin as well its free at the moment use the user name BETA and password BETA works really well loads of instruments
While an interesting option, it still doesnt eliminate the cockpit/instruments from FS's one and only monitor/window. We should'nt have to resort to 3rd part software and plugins just to get a screen configuration commensurate with what has been standard functionality in flight simulators for over 10 years.
