A guide to PC Specs and Performance (Intel)
I see alot of people asking if their PC will run this game etc. So i wanted to make a small guide which should awnser many of the questions being asked regarding PC specs and Performance

ULTRA REQUIREMENTS -
RTX 2080+ 9th gen i5 or i7 (Min 6 cores at 4ghz turbo boosted or overclocked) 32GB RAM, 50mbps internet connection, 500GB to 1TB SSD

High Requirements
RTX 2060 Super / GTX 1080 + 7-9th gen i5 or i7 (min 6 cores 4ghz or above overclocked or turbo boosted ) 16GB RAM (32 would be recommended) 500GB to 1TB SDD

Medium Requirements
GTX 1660 6GB or GTX 1070 (6GB Vram card +) 6-8 i5-i7 (min 6 core 3.5ghz above turbo boosted or overclocked) 16GB RAM and again at least 500GB to 1TB SDD

Low Requirements
Any older or graphics card with 4GB VRAM, Any processer with boost or turbo I would fully recommend to be over 3.5ghz to run this simulator.

Anyone wanting a good experience I would recommend that your processor is running at 4ghz+ overclocked or turbo boosted during the simulator. most modern intel processers including K models etc should have this pre ready.

I would recommend on the whole 8GB VRAM G-card to achieve high+ on the graphics.

32GB is recommended but unless you have a top of the range system, I think you can get by quite happily with 16GB if you feel the need to upgrade after release then obviously feel free to upgrade the ram. But if you have 16GB try it out first before spending more money.

I would recommend a minimum of 500GB ssd but would advise for 1TB SSD just because of add ons at a later date, the base of the simulator as we know is 150GB. Keep this in mind when upgrading or selecting your SSD

These are not offical microsoft requirements, this is purely from the rage of computers I have seen, based on different setting, different streamers etc

but on the intel side should give more of an inside what you can expect but do not shoot the messenger if when the game is launched its slightly different

We have one week to go! really close now and I hopefully will see many of you in the virtual skies soon! keep safe and well all.

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS JUST INFORMATION TO HELP GIVE YOU AN IDEA ON WHAT YOU COULD POSSIBLY EXPECT WITH DIFFERENT COMBO'S

PERFORMANCES MAY AND MOST LIKELY WILL DIFFER!

Base speed of 3.5 GHz? I have an i7-8700 with a base speed of 3.2 GHz but can go up to 4.6 GHz.

Erm, the HDD/SSD space doesn't change based on the settings you use guys.

This is true but with the game being 150GB the minimum I would recommend is 500gb SSD because you need to consider add ons at a later date

IGNORE specs on Store Page.....it's all bs....hardware to run FS2020 maxed out hasn"t been released yet. Wait 2-5 years

I just meant on the Ultra you have it as 1TB.

Ultra space is the same as the others.

You are wrong, they have built this sim better then FSX their is hardware today which will get you pretty close to max across the whole sim.

And even though most won't run anywhere near max, they don't need to. it looks so much better than other sims even on lower settings.

The obsession with running it on max (or crying because you can't) is really silly. No one should be discouraged if they can't run it on ultra or even high with their current machine.

Medium settings on this game blows FSX out of the water by a mile, trust me I have seen first hand how lovely this sim looks.

Guild is right that you do not need to be maxed out to get the full enjoyment from it

I believe a GTX 1660 or a GTX 1070 is ok for high settings above 30fps in FHD, or at least somewhere between mid/high settings...

from my experience that is about right. Depends a lot on the area.

on a 1660 what settings do you believe to be optimal? I mean, to keep fps on 30 flying over ny for example?

I'll tinker in a bit and let ya know. ^_^

Definitely going to need to lower some stuff, but I think people have their own preferences as to what settings are a lower value.

I have a GTX 1070 (and a R5 3600), do you think i will be able to run the game with playable fps at high to ultra settings? Maybe i could also try to OC my GTX 1070 a little bit, to get closer to GTX 1070ti/GTX 1080 performance.

Have you tested all these configurations and measured the performance of them?

can i play it (dot) com?
