So you're complaining about others sharing the opinions because they "stink." Well, again, if it bothers you, perhaps you shouldn't get on an internet forum.
I have no issue with you having an opinion. That is a pretty weak spin on what I said. I am assuming your English skills aren't so good. Understandable.
lol I should be embarassed to think flight sims without VR are garbage? Why should that embarrass me?
spoken like a poor that will never afford VR
once you go VR, for sim especially, it's hard to go back. it's always obvious when someone is just less fortunate and ignorant. maybe within the decade you can experience affordable VR
Unless you have actually tried a proper VR setup, meaning a good comfortable headset and a PC more than capable of handling the performance, then you have no idea what it's actually like, and your comment is irrelevant
I really don't like having that thing strapped to my head, so I agree with ERASER. I don't like not being able to see the real world around me. You are assuming we haven't tried it which is wrong and therefore your comment is completely irrelevant.:dumbass:
Yeah - I'm not sure that every comment you don't agree with can be labelled "irrelevant".
Perhaps it might suit someone who wants to stay comfortably within their own bubble to tell themselves that any opinion that does not align with their own is irrelevant, but that's just self-hoodwinking.
I agree with ERASER and Rever - for the reasons they've detailed and more. And I have a decent setup - it's not got anything to do with that. I know exactly "what it's like" and as far as I'm concerned, it's fun for short, informal VFR flights only. Which is about 10% of my sim use.
No one is saying VR is bad. We are saying that it is not necessary. Stop putting up strawmen and then acting like we are beating them up. We aren't debating the merits or non merits of VR in general with respect to flight training or simulation. We are saying that it is not a necessity in FS 2020. So far all you bunch have done is prove you can attack others when challenged which tells me you don't even believe your own position b/c you cannot logically defend it when challenged.
So in case you lost the topic: VR is NOT a necessity for FS 2020 nor for real life flight training.
So, if your pimax pooped itself, you couldn't play the game? Or perhaps you just wouldn't want to? Now go and look up the meaning of the word "necessary" (which I'm guessing you were attempting to write).
Yes, that's only fair. You can save yourself your sub-complex troll accusations!
Modern man can no longer do without VR. Anyone who claims that is either lying or living in the IT stone age.
I think that's the case for many here. Because if you have already visited FS2020 in VR, something has changed in your brain. Your mind has opened up in the VR Cockpit and has attained a new awareness. A new perspective on reality. I even want to say: A more real view of reality!
It was immediately clear to me that this destructive pseudo-intellectual high school student twaddle was coming from a German.
You think you're so smart if you pride yourself on having saved a few euros by not owning VR glasses. It makes you feel like the greatest! The German Great Power Claim - in German: "Großmachtsanspruch"
Or as the saying goes: The world should heal through the German spirit - or in german: "Am deutschen Wesen soll die Welt genesen".
What you just don't understand: This is where people meet and exchange ideas who have had an enlightenment! They kind of saw God in VR. They saw the divine in virtuality.
If you've seen the movie TRON (Legacy) and are intellectual enough to understand it on a meta level, you can guess what everyone is talking about!
Or you show everyone in this world how narrow-minded the Germans can be!
