Critical failure?Help please?[SOLVED]

*Verified game cache integrity to fix*
I Have just downloaded killing floor, It downloaded fine and i started playing the game. I tryed playing online but it would stop halfway through loading the map and it would say something like 'Unable to connect'. So i thought , no problem i'll play solo, but then i notice the zombies freezing in place when i kill them and then i get a criticall error showing me the game engine code and were it froze. Im stuck could someone enlighten me on my situation?

you tried it since restating your PC?

if still having problems, update video drivers
if that doesnt work, attempt uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

I came onto my pc today hoping is would of resolved, it hasn't:(
If i uninstall does that mean i have to redownload?
