Killing Floor Won't Download Workshop Mods

So, when I Subscrible to a mod on the Workshop, then launch KF, nothing is downloading at the main menu. I've waiting 15 minutes to see if there was a delay and still nothing.

Am I doing something wrong?

P.S. - I don't have any of the DLC packs. Could that be why?

I'd like to know too,I've been having the same problem for my Killing Floor after it had downloaded a few mods before.

It seems as if it's a Workshop problem,cause even Legends of Grimrock is having the same problem now.

It's weird because my friend got some mods for KF (the same ones I got before it stopped working), and she was able to download them.

Same problem for me, ive subscribed to a few character mod's but they have never showed up in-game.
Edit: Ok so after looking at why this was happening i ended up verifying my game cache, to find x1 file was missing. I also read for the mod's to load you should start the game from your library list and the workshop mod's will then download.

Of course that well work, but there maybe be 2 reason (as far as i know) that you cant download your subbed items...

1. You already have the max of 50 subscribed items
2. You might have a item that is clogging the rest of your downloads. This can be checked when you open up killing floor, letting it load up, then opening KillingFloor/System/KillingFloor.log and seeing if 1 of your items has failed to download.

Stupid limitation? You must be new to the games engine.

Where did i get the information? From no where, its actaully bothering to find out information on your own.

i dont know of any limitation i have had over 50 subscribed items on Left For Dead 2 before

Most items you subscribe to will have a direct download link in case the mutators/mods won't install correct. Download them from the link and read the readme file and follow the instructions. Most are basic like drag the .rom map file into the maps folder.

Had same issue, fixed it but subbing then opening the game and clicking Multiplayer wait few sec and going back then you'll see if the workshop downloaded in the top right corner
