Does the Buzzsaw Bow count towards melee damage for Berserker levels?
And does the Berserker actually get any bonuses to it, other than the price reduction? It really seems much more like a Sharpshooter weapon.

Hi Im Paul Oct 26, 2012 @ 4:23am
I do not personnaly own the DLC, but I'm assuimg that the Buzzsaw saw blades that are launched effect you're berzerk melee damage progression:

(I'm not sure if this is a reputable source.)
In the first box the guy's profile states that the saw blade's overall damage is affected by your level of Berzerk skill, one of the first bonuses to the zerk class is : XX% increased melee damage. Since the box is affected by this multiplyer I'm left to assume that the bow is counted as a melee weapon therefore has progress in the melee damage section.

Now... I again do NOT own the Dlc so your best to just join a game and ask a player that has it.

yes they count for berz. they can be shot and then repickup the blade to reuse again if you can locate the blade that is. they ricochet of walls and such so they are useful in close quarters. the bow itself is used as the other bow though, so its not rocket science by any means, the actually accuracy of a straight on shot over distance though is not very good... so point blank or intentionally bank off of walls to get the bang for the buck. they even bounce off the ground. some might say OP but i say not... due to lack of acc. over distance, not very effective in open maps with nothing to bounce off of unless point blank range. and of course you may loose the blades totally if shot in to open area because they tend to fly off. bank off a wall and theres a higher chance you may be able to find it though. so its a trade off.

oh, and considering that it gives berz a range weap, i say its nice just due to that.

I own the DLC, so I know how it works. I was just wondering about the stat mechanics. The Berserker's current perk description is a bit misleading, what with this really not being a melee weapon by any stretch of the imagination. Thanks, though.
