On the last day of August, everything changed in the bustling city of London.

A group of several thousand protesters were reported assembling outside the offices of a wealthy Biotech corporation called Horzine. The riot police were called in because the general consensus was that these protesters were the violent sort and needed a lesson in civil obedience. All of this was based on eyewitness testimony that the office entrance had been smashed to pieces. It was agreed that this was a poor way to treat the property of a renowned government defense contractor and the boys suited up, put their visors down and moved in. With a few armed Special Branch lads hidden in amongst them, because they didn’t want to miss the fun.

On arriving, the officers found the entrance to be deserted. Still, a gaping hole stood where the doors had been and there was debris, twisted metal and all the evidence they really needed to start clapping hippies in cuffs. And as though he had read the officers’ collective thoughts, one of the protesters emerged from that man-made orifice and stumbled up to them. It took a few moments for the screaming to start as this protestor, a naked, emaciated specimen, had sunk elongated teeth into the neck of the closest cop and was vigorously tearing off bits of flesh. It only took a few more moments for the Special Branch types to haul out their 9-mils and the gunfire erupted.

With the smell of blood now thick in the air, the rest of the “protestors” emerged from that wound in the building. By the hundreds. They howled and shambled and moved as though they had some terribly important purpose. There were little ones and large ones and those with chainsaws and cleavers instead of limbs and in the last moments of his life, the police sergeant mused that it was a bit like staring at a macabre circus troupe.

On the last day of August, London turned into a Killing Floor.

The police were sent in, but that wasn’t even a challenge for the specimens. The first army units hadn’t been warned what to expect. The screams of “It's got a bloody chainsaw!” over the radios probably didn’t do much for morale, as whole units were chewed up; quite literally, in some cases.

This leaves only the players: the few survivors from the first police and army units thrown in. Telling anyone about this extermination procedure would be a breach of the Official Secrets Act 1911, 1920, 1989, and that would be a disciplinary offense. So just get in there and do your bit for Queen and Country…
So They are genetecly Mutated people who like to walk around naked and eats human flesh but i dont get two things whats up with husks gun where did that come from? and what is patriach?

Ty was interesting to read.
Basically Horzine is like Umbrella Corporation from the Resident Evil games. Kevin Camely (I think that's how his name is spelled, he becomes the Patriarch later before the events of Killing Floor), is CEO of Horzine, he has recently been contracted by the British government to make super soldiers that obediently follow orders. So, Horzine created several species of obedient soldiers. They created the Clot, Gorefast, Crawler, Bloat, Siren, Husk, Scrakes, and Fleshpounds (If you want the backstory on each specimen, please visit the Killing Floor wiki). However, many of their experiements were starting to go awry, as most of their "super soldiers" began acting on their own will, they turned on the Horzine scientists and killed many of the people in the Biotics Lab. Thus, the experiments began making their way onto the surface of London. Knowing this, the British government enlisted the help of some special forces soldiers within the British army. Unbeknownst to the rioters at the time in front of Horzine (they thought they Horzine was kidnapping real people, then experimenting on them, but that wasn't the case). The specimen started breaking out of the entrance, then killing everyone. Special forces soldiers were sent in, but were mostly wiped out (The single-player campaign back in the old Killing Floor follows the journey of the last surviving special forces soldier, in fact he's one of the skins, SGT. MASTERSON). Sgt. Masterson escapes, and looks around the city of London all destroyed and decorated with limbs of civilians. This is when the Killing Floor multiplayer storyline takes place.
Lol, I forgot to mention why Kevin became the Patriarch. The government wanted to shut down Horzine and destroy all of the experiments, so Clamely did one last experiment to transform his body into a super weapon: The Patriarch. He did this to protect all of his "children", the experiments.

There are story modes for the game. You really need to spend 5 minutes checking Google before you post. Not 1 single thing have you asked or stated could not have been answered in that 5 minutes.

Also, there is an enitre GUIDE section. Guides have the background, tell about story mode, explain husks, teach you how to play.

Just put in a minimal amount of effort.

his was simply copy pasted from the KillingFloorWiki, but I am sure many people don't know about the backstory behind the game and the zeds, so here it is -

Kevin Clamely, the Patriarch's original identity, was the CEO and founder of Horzine Biotech, the company responsible for the outbreak in London. He was hired by the government to create the perfect soldier—something that wouldn't experience pain or fear, and wouldn't question or reason. London was to be used as a staging ground—a test of Horzine's accomplishments. Kevin thought of the clones as his "children" and "family" because they were the only companions he had left.
Sergeant Masterson was Horzine's last project before the outbreak. He escaped from the Biotics Labs below the city through the sewer system to the city above, hoping that he could rebel against his mad creators. Sadly, this is what Kevin wanted all along; Masterson led his soldiers into combat, and they were killed just as Kevin had planned. With the British Disaster Response Force eliminated, nobody could stand in the way of the clones.
Horzine's methods were deemed too immoral even for such a controversial project, and were shut down. However, the project didn't want to be shut down. In a second complex deep underneath the city of London, the experiments continued.
Eventually, he realised that his work was in jeopardy. His scientists were leaving and he feared that someone may reveal his secret work to a world that wouldn't understand or even allow it. In a final act to save his dream, he asked the remaining scientists to take the most advance pieces of technology at their disposal, and use the methods they had perfected over the course of their work to implant them into him:
-An updated version of the cloaking device used on project Stalker
-Three modified neuro-stimulation systems similar to those used on project Guardian
-A nerve-controlled weapons platform on his left arm.
-Finally, he underwent the same "gene-enhancing" process that all the specimens underwent, but with all the safeties off and the process running at full capacity. As Kevin walked out of the test chamber, he knew he had become as perfect as any human could hope to be.
When humans started murdering his "children", he knew that it was time to take the fight to them. Armies fell before him, none seemed to be able to kill him, or even harm him. He would continue his work alone, and create and protect more of his specimens until the day someone could finally work out how to kill him.
