About the M4-203

Does shooting emenies with the M4-203 level up demo, or only the grenades? Also, if a Commando uses the M4-203. Can he level with it?

This would be the same case as the Trenchgun for support. The Commando will still get the less recoil and larger clip size with the M4 203 but it will not level up his perks. As far as I know, shooting zed's normally with it will still level up the Demo Perk.

I think only the M4-203's Grenade Launcher counts towards Demolisionist. I use the primary fire (the bullets) and don't get any progress from it. Using the grenades, however, grants me the progress for the Demolisionist (if the grenade dealt any damage upon a hit). I could just be ignorant, but I'm pretty sure only the Grenades from the M4 give progress.

Well I got 1 person saying the bullets make you level and 1 person saying that they don't. Well either way the M4-203 is extremely reliable on harder diffucaulties.

I know that shooting a stalker with the primary fire (bullets) from an M4-203 doesn't give you any progress against commando.

Kind of surprising as it's supposedly the same basic gun, only with a grenade launcher instead of a fancy gunsight. (It might go some way towards rehabilitating one of KF's least popular weapons, too. But maybe the game mechanics don't allow a weapon to contribute towards two perks.)

It should, it is an explosive, and explosives count for demolitions. The bullets are not explosive, despite coming from a gun which can fire explosives.

Hello. I can confirm that shooting Zeds (with bullets) using the M403 DOES count towards your demolitions perk level AND your Commando level!

Necromancer here and i just checked it. You definetly DONT get any XP 4 killing with Bullets/Primary Fire. Grenades/Secondary Fire gives Demo XP though.

idk, but I do know that the grenade launcher attatchment does more damage with 1330 to the head versus 1289 from the m79. but the further you are from your target the more damage you can apply. My highest I've gotten with the m4-203's attacthment was 1440 head points. Probably not worth using. 9mm is the best option for shooting bullets imo.

Yeah, firing bullets with the M4-203 counts as Off Perk, you even dont get DMG Bonus when you use it as Commander. And dealing some nice Head Shots with your sidearm is always good if your Sharpshooter isnt maxed out yet ;)
