Can you host a LAN server using Hamachi?

I can't host a server because the ports are closed, and I can't open the ports because my dad refuses to give me the password for the router. I use hamachi for most other things, but Idk if I can use it here, and if I can how to use it.

No you cannot, to host a LAN you all need to be on the same internet connection, regardless if there is one or not (AD-HOC works best)
I use hamachi for hosting, but I dont think it can host, if that makes any sense

If not on the same closed circuit internet connection, you could use Virtual LAN.

If you have your own computer maybe you could ask your dad to open the ports from router to your computer? :)

I don't have any experience in VLAN but i'm sure you find guides from internet.

Lol at people commenting with no knowledge on the subject.

Hamachi IS a VLAN. Hamachi will work fine with Killing Floor, just make sure you search for LAN games and not Internet games. If you can't get Hamachi to work, try Tunngle instead, it's MUCH more reliable.

Okay, so we can use Hamachi? So then do we need to connect to a port, like you do when hosting a minecraft server through hamachi? or do we just make sure we are on the same network, then play LAN?

when i create a server i cant join it my self :(

Hack your router, and don't f4ck your brain. Otherwise a lot of routers have the factory defaults reset button. Just press it, and connect to your device with standart login and password. But you need to configurate internet connection.
