Critical error?!
I keep getting this error while I try to play killing floor. Its only started recently so I have no idea what to do about it. I've deleted the killingfloor.ini and user.ini and I've reinstalled, nothings changed. I can't even get to the title screen so any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Hrm, I used to get something similair when my system was overheating. You might also want to try rebooting, reinstalling the game, and defragging your hard drive. Might also want to use system restore to some point when the game worked.

Go though the first steps in that order. You haven't verified game cache for example.

Still getting this problem 2 weeks after it happened. Reinstalled and verified game cache multiple times.

Don't reinstall multiple times. Delete the client registry blob, then delete the killing floor system folder, then verify your game cache.

Without posting your exact error message its almost impossible to help you. Always list your OS, video card, system specs, router, ISP, error message, and killing floor log file.

List fixes you have tried. Exact fix (with details), order you tried them, what happened (with details).

No information - no help possible.

As someone without much PC technical knowledge, I would assume it has something to do with this "No Video" line.

See that link that MRU pasted a while ago? Its a guide. In the guide are about 27 fixes for technical issues. Step by step instructions, even some videos.

Now, you can click the guide and follow the directions. You can attempt to follow the guide and give detailed feed back. If you want someone to do it for you, I charge $25 an hour for help desk support with a min of 1 hour charged.
