Just finished downloading and I can't play the game

I've gotten a couple of different error messages, but here's the one that has came up most recently. "Killingfloor.exe - Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point SteamMasterServerUpdater could not be located in the dynamic link library steam_api.dll." So yeah, help is appreciated.

If you haven't already you might wanna try this - Rlight click on Killing Floor in the steam library. Select "Properties" then click over to " Local Files" in there you'll see " Verify integrity of game cache" use that, and it'll run a little scan/check.
this normaly works when the .exe of a game is acting up.

Hell, i can't even play the game, i try to and it loads for like 20 sec, then auto-shutdown.

Tried deleting the aforementioned file and then verify? Steam verify doesn't normally check for corrupted/custom files only missing ones to download.
