Menu looks like a bunch of dots
Hey guys, the menu in my game is unreadable. It just looks like a bunch of dots. I can see the animation on the right side moving, but everything else doesnt look right. I will post a screen shot.

My specs are i7 2.9 GHz, 8 GB memory, Intel HD 4000 GPU. Its a 2012 MBP and I've seen it run on specs worse than mine. Any suggestions?

I've tried verifying the cache in steam, running as admin, changing compatability to win xp SP3. I am honestly ready to just give up on this game since it just isnt working.

Fixed it! It was a matter of changing the resolution to 1280x800 and the quality to highest.

This is a problem with the Intel GPU, and has an easy fix. In your graphics cards graphics settings make sure it is not set to quality setting "performance". Set it to balanced or high quality, any of those is fine, but performance setting causes these graphical glitches in killing floors text etc.

So is performance for more speed with the graphics? Like which one would produce the best graphics, with little lag? Performance or Quality? The reason I ask is because whenever I try to play Far Cry 3 on lowest settings, it looks like the game skips a little bit every couple of seconds. Its pretty much unplayable.

Set to performance for most games, and set to Balanced, or quality for killing floor to get around the graphical issues.

Hey Had to come back to this thread just to give credit where credit was due I almost returned this game till I came across your tip here in the forum. I clicked balanced and it fixed the game immediately.
