Servers from the Steam Server list aren't showing up within the game either. Right now if I want to play a game from that list (usually with superior ping) I need to exit the game, and then connect to my desired server from Steam itself, with the game closed. Launching a server while the game's already running gives the same problem as OP.
Works for me !
Regards.
Confirming that this works. I deleted the file and now I can connect to servers normally and see other servers again. Thanks!
Possible fixes listed in the guide above[/b]
Sometimes you have to read through the guide and try multiple fixes.
1. Delete killing floor system folder
2. Delete the steam client registry blob
3. Restart steam so that it rebuilds the client registry blob
4. Refresh your steam files
5. Verigy the Killing Floor game cache
6. Start the game and start a listen server. This is an "extra" step, but seems to help on some occasions. Just start it for a few minutes, then turn off KF, then restart and go into multiplayer.
If you are running Windows always make sure your run KF as administrator and in compatibility mode.
At least 75% of the time peoples issues are fixed by simply turning steam on and off or verifying the game cache. If that doesn't work, then follow steps above, if that doesn't work, read the guide. It is long and broken into many chapters, sometimes you need to read a bit.
