THE "English People" haven't got any accent, altough some people might have one. That's a basic flaw in the reasoning of Americans. They really think what they speak is standard english, but it's not. It's them who have an american accent. It's simply bul.lsh.it to say something like "Oh, you speak English with an english accent." No, you cannot speak English with an english accent, that's the definition of accent-free. That's the way it's supposed to be pronounced. That makes just about as much sense as saying someone speaks French with a french accent or Italian with an italian accent. Undereducated dimwits.

Thank you for your marvelous piece of reasoning and logic my dear.

I'd have you know, that people INSIDE a country's own language have different accents, ergo the accents discussed at the moment (the Southern London accent). The same way there are different accents in France, wether they were raised in the northern or southern country.

Yep, even in britain, manchester, liverpool, newcastle all have diff "accents". Its not just all about the country you live but where in the country you live, as for the american thing, i am english i have an london accent, if i was from say texas in the states id have a texan accent.
Even in Texas the accents are different depending on where, and culture you live in.
It wouldn't be a far strech to say that all accents are unique to each individuals experience.
Thus it would be possible to imagine the voice actors to acutally have spoken that way when doing the lines.
Cockney has been dead for sometime
