Is the game still active online?
I'm looking for a multiplayer game to mess around with and was wondering if KF1 still had enough active players to play with.

It has its ups and downs. At least in my region in the US, sometimes I would have good amount of people to join, sometimes its dead. It can also be somewhere in between. I can say however, this game is definitely playable.

It's hit and miss. You just gotta find the time when people are typically on, but yeah...it's still around. Though I will say there have been many on there recently that have no idea what the game is about. That can make it a little irritating, esp. when you don't speak the same language and you try to teach them. Have patience and it will be fun once again! :D

Very regional, it seems. Here, during the day its dead (makes sense) but every evening and on weekends its hard to join a server, cause they are filled to the brim.

US here, I get home from work around 3-4 am and theres normally one server with acceptable ping that has players on it. Earlier hours and weekends generate more players and it's not that hard to find a lobby or 3.

US American here too, my PC too poor to run KF2. That Don't matter since i've played it at my brothers house super pc and didn't love it much as i love KF1 since no one has made a RE hive map yet for KF2. That's all Keep KF1 Alive American/Russian/Spanish bros

If you are British as your profile has it Union Jacket, you should find people to play in Europe any time. Even though I have only 20 hours, every time I cameback it always had people playing in various hours.
