Is it still possible to play the Unreal Tournament 2004 Killing Floor Mod?

I recently learned about the removal of the Unreal Series from the Steam store, so I was wondering if its still possible to play the Killing Floor Mod 1.0 (or 2.5) by using an Unreal Tournament 2004 game from, ehem, **outside sources**

Yes, you need to have ut2k4 and you can download the mod off modbb or whatever it’s called

Install the mod in your "Unreal Tournament 2004" folder (Steam - drive:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Unreal Tournament 2004\). To play, go to your Unreal Tournament 2004 folder, then into KFMod, and use "Play KF.bat". You may want to r-click and "Send to Desktop" to place a shortcut to this, just to make it easier in the future.

Thread bump because the replies above me are confusing as ♥♥♥♥!

Sorta, you're probably gonna pirate it like I had with Unreal tournament 1999 GOTY edition.
There's no official legal digital way (From my experience, I searched almost everywhere lol) to find these games anymore, They're only on amazon from what I've came across.

I'm pretty sure you can still Install KFMOD and put it inside a pirated UT2004 folder, I haven't tried it since I already own Steam's version and that my internet sucks ass right now so I can't download even a Gigabyte.

If you find a way to get it officially, Digital or physical, Or even pirated (You're probably gonna HAVE to) just make sure it's the editors choice edition, and do whatever the person above me replied with.

Pretty late response, I found a page to download UT2004, later I downloaded the Unreal Tournament KF mod from moddb which worked very well, I played with the 1.0 and 2.5 versions all the way with no issues, I think the only way to play multiplayer is to setup a LAN with some friends, but I bet there is a discord server out there with people still playing.

The only bad thing is the installation, sometimes things just don't work and all forum threads are from 12+ years ago, so getting a lead on how to fix an issue might be a long shot.

Also, most tutorials tell you to launch the KFmod via the KF.bat file, but you can also access all installed mods by the following method: Launch UT2004 > On the main menu, press Community > Choose User Mods Tab > All installed KF mods will be displayed to launch.

There are several master servers available for UT2K4 , but clients need to do the switch manually, in config file. Just check latest discussions and guides.
