Server Shut Down?
Will Killing Floor servers ever be shut down. Since killing floor 2 is released, Tripwire might not see a reason to keep them. Couldnt find any info on this, maybe one of you ppl do.

There are no official TWI servers for KF. Every server is run by the community. As long as somebody decides running a server is worth their time and electricity, there will be active servers.
I'm glad to hear that thx alot

that makes little sense since they can just add more DLC and new maps to KF and make more money.

not really their pushing kf2 onto the ps4 due to lack of funds to finish the game as it's still in ea after 2 years and it was going to shut down on dec 21st but if enough people buy season passes they will see about keeping kf2 open longer

why don't they just run a kickstarter thing. I mean, if people really wanted the game they can just fund it.

Dec 21st, 2017, actually. And that's only saying they guarantee supporting it up to that point, nothing about what will happen afterwards. A common practice among game devs; naturally, they will not support a game longer than it's worth supporting.

And I fail to see how any of that involves KF1. Of course, they will try to get players to buy KF2, but I highly doubt they would take KF1 off the store, or, as you so eloquently put it, "shut it down" by whatever means, if at all possible.

I think I read somewhere that KF2 was getting released on November 18. Not sure though.

KF2 development was fully funded. There's no reason to keep paying for develpment of a game that was already paid for. The only thing that TWI needs to do is actually finish the game.

they ran out of money and need you to buy dlc to finish it, creating games isnt' cheap you know

Yes, I can see that happening after spending all that money on trips and such. Reminds me of many of the roadside beggers who routinely spend the money on things other than what they said they need the money for.
I take the statement "fully funded" as meaning they don't need more money to complete the project.
