HELP "Killingfloor.exe is not responding"

Whenever I start up the game it says "killingfloor.exe is not responding" at the splash screen. HELP ME WITH THIS i did not pay $5 for a game I cant play!

OMG yo spent $5, I will drop everything to help you even though you didn't say please and screamed and DEMAND HELP BECAUSE YOU SPENT $5. Seriously considering not helping based on the post, but will anyway.

Since you can't give any information on the problem, too important and you spent $5, you will have to try all of the first 8 fixes in this guide.

This happens sometimes, be patient. And Bigguns recommendation is good. So, let him know if any of the fixes worked and which one.

How did it work out? Did you try verifying your game cache? That is usually the fix.

It wont let me verify the game cache for some reason, but I can run it as administrator. Thanks and again sorry for making my request sound so cocky. I have one question, though, is there any way to put up my gametime on Killing Floor, as running it as admin has no Steam relation at all?
