In the past, potato really worked, it does insta kill on patriarch .. but it is no longer usable in future patches, due to copyright fees charged by portal creators.

We did the achievement in biotics. It's nice if you have teammates.

We 'loot' (collect all weapons we found and sell them) in order to get 70k.

You can still buy it. There's the possibility that there was an error about the mutators or something.
One time I reached 70k but couldn't bought it. I tested again and then I could buy it and get the achievement. I don't remember what was the problem.
