I'd rather drive & "live the life" around south Florida, Hawaii or even southrn California in a world that takes at least an hour to drive around it's circumference at high speed.
Lots smaller, how in the world can you even say that? These are the facts,:
TDUSC Map Size is around 80 sq.km.
TDU1 was 1545 sq.km
TDU 2 was 2116 sq.km.
TDUSC is about the same size as FH4 and smaller that FH5, which is 108 sq.km.
This map fits 21 times in the TDU2 map. If you're going to argue something, at least do your research a little better next time.
Before the race starts, go to the toilet, get drinks ready, take the dog out again, put a towel ready to wipe your hands in between, "Do not disturb for 1.5 hours" sign on the door.......Gentlemen start your engines.
Solar Crown probably won't offer that. Even the longest race can be completed between two sips from a coffee cup.
Yes, I remember bringing the kids to bed, kissing the wife goodnight and hope to stay in first place long enough to get distance between me and ai drivers so a few mistakes would not matter.
Yes, but even the smaller island is 571 sq.km which is still almost 7 times larger than the TDUSC island. Oahu wasn't copy and past either, it was reworked and upgraded from TDU1.
Whoever chose this location and chose to leave out the house buying and cop chases clearly does not at all understand the success of the franchise.
This feels more like Forza with inferior physics and graphics.
The only part of this that makes me feel like i might be playing a TDU game is the inclusion of FRIM and at least some car dealerships.
Well that's because the same people (or many of the at least) created the Crew. They got hired after Atari went bankrupt and made a TDU sibling on purpose.
It´s just so sad and I don't understand the decisions they made. Some OG devs have been working on TDU:SC and to everyone in the community who played TDU2 it seemed so obvious what they had to do to create a massively successful TDU but still they decided to go with their ideas and do something on their own, which meant many things nobody actually wanted and left out many things we do wanted unfortunately.
Still the game is very enjoyable and definitely brings back TDU feelings. But also I would rather get a pay full price for a modern TDU 2 rework instead of playing Solar Crown.
