The main reveal of Season 3 comes in 5 days, that's when Nacon's Connect event is.
We are only half way through the first roadmap, so I would imagine the Year 2 roadmap would come around Season 4 time.
I checked out the forums over there on discord.
It was teased that Season 3 ships with new exhaust sounds. And a 2 sec trailer snip of Solar Crown game from the upcoming Nacon game-reel presentation.
And Nacon also apologized for the server errors, of previous weeks. The finally found the bug and are fixing it (or fixed it).
Why can't Nacon moderate this Steam community, and post such news on Steam? (like other publishers)
Let's hope Season 3 brings more than new sound files. I would prefer more and better races on Ibiza island and less grind, and better AI with options, and an single player mode, and a rewind function, and AI settings screen. There is no one online on my map anyway.
I fully agree with you that a lot of the information shouldn't just be on Discord, I really hope to see them improving at this front. And I do think they can/will improve because already in the past few weeks the communication has improved DRASTICALLY.
Only 5 days to go to when we get to see what Season 3 to has to really offer, really hope to see some of the improvements you have mentioned like less grind and AI difficulty settings.
When did they confirm it? The last time they spoke about it they said they would perhaps consider it at the end of life. That's quite different from confirming it.
Exactly. They said they are considering ways and solutions about keeping the game alive and offline mode is one of them (they could be looking at another 100 solutions for all we know...). They never confirmed anything.
"We already communicated that we will look into an offline mode at the end of the games life, but I can't say more than that unfortunately. I will be honest, as a personal opinion, region unlocking and even crossplay are a larger priority than offline at the moment. But maybe we can have [polls] so we can truly hear the communities thoughts".
As said... that's not a confirmation. Also notice that whenever it's brought up they are against it. There's no poll needed it's even quite ignorant and perhaps offensive to even suggest that. It's the most asked and most repeatedly asked feature. To even suggest a possible poll clearly shows they don't want to know what the community wants and they don't care. If they truly cared they would know.
All the perhap's and maybe's most likely only points to one thing, they're going to let this game die. Enjoy it while you can.
In my honest opinion, I agree with the community manager that offline mode should be less of a priority right now. It doesn't change the core gameplay experience at all and I would rather see servers fixed with region/platform unlock than an offline mode. It's supposed to be a multiplayer game after all.
Also I have been hearing "they're going to let this game die" for so long yet we are still here getting new updates, fixes, and new seasons. And one way to make this game even more alive is by actually having the people still playing being able to connect each other no mater their region or platform.

Did you actually read the article? Straight from the article, before the author starts speculating:
Working on finding a solution is different than working on a solution. On top of that it's an outdated old article, a lot has changed since.
No dude, not at all. It can still go either way, they can still abandon the idea and if you have any knowledge about KTRacing, you would know that's the road they usually take with their games.
But, hey, if you want to fool yourself, that's fine, but stop telling others they are working on an offline mode, since they are not. They are considering it, that's the correct information.
Anything can go either way, hell the game could shut down tomorrow, but we know it isn't because the Devs are still working on the game and still trying to improve it. Why would the community manager bring it up again, if they weren't commited to it?
Pessimistic, no, realistic yes. Until now all that KTRacing ever has done is abandon their games, unfinished, within a year. Why would they suddenly behave differently, especially knowing that the game was badly received and hardly anyone is playing it? I rather be realisting than fooling myself.
