I heard patches only introduced MORE bugs and server instability which honestly, I'm just having a laugh about considering they decided to go with the "always online" bed.

It's not Test Drive, and the Test Drive Unlimited series is officially dead after Eden Games liquidated, it's now a Jack of all trades and best at none. A chameleon having WRC game engine, FH game design etc.

I can see that... this was the one thing I'm often worried about whenever people float the idea of a Midnight Club, Blur, PGR, etc. reboot. Pretty much squeezing all the character out until there's either nothing left or another boring sim-wannabe.

It's off topic here but even in 2021 it's clear that TDU:SC would be DOA unless some miracle happens as the gaming industry had changed, and TDU:SC just showing the late 2010s mediocre design and quality, it won't survive if they go for TDU1 develop cycle, no loots, no MTX, no always online MOBA-like mechanics is a no-no for current gaming, and going realistic involving multiple real life licenses you definitely need all those lucrative ♥♥♥♥♥ that hurts the gaming experience.

I've noticed an improvement.

Hopefully they continue this trend of fixing the game and not give up on it, like some users here want.

Sad to see so many people want the game to fail.

All I will say is: If the game shuts down within the next year (or months... or weeks), is it really the fault of the players or is it the bad first impression the developers left behind while pouring fuel onto the flames?
