i was thinking the same, since it'll be a 5th sept (uk) release date for early access, id guess it should be available to download from the 4th.

For each round of beta testing the download only become available after the advertised test session started. They don't seem very good at planning ahead, so on that basis I wouldn't be surprised if the gold preorders only start downloading on the 5th.

I hope the dev strike does not effect the game and launch date. I would post proof but steam mods already gave me a are warning about spam so look at my other thread. Video is called below.

They never said there was a preload.
Only Advanced Access.
