Almost impossible to win begin/mid game races with starter car?

I am struggling when trying the clan races and regular races in the starting cars and am unsure as to what car I should buy to be able to win. My cars are upgraded almost to the max of 550 but cars that have a rating of 220 pull away from me somehow.

Any tips?

Get the Audi TT RS 2017, and make sure to tune it to the top of the class 550.
It seems to be the best daily driver car for now. Actually started winning stuff with this car.

Ironically losing a race doesn't affect your winnings all that much so you can run and lose all you want however as mentioned above if you want to win you'll need to invest in a TT.

But where do I buy it? Ive searched for all the dealerships but did not find the TT.

Buy an Audi TT RS bro , is the best in Daily category , is like 300k in shop so is not expensive , tune it and turn traction control off , is better. After , in Grand Tour category buy porsche taycan , or bentley is a good alternative. And a tip for dirt races, buy Sientero Reinita , equip off road tires and you are good to go to beat all the AI.

even with upgraded cars u will have trouble with these races. you are racing against lewis hamilton every race remember the developers didnt hear about playtesting and balancing and are imbeciles

I gotta agree, they are extremely fast and the performance rating does not seem to have much effect. Lower ones gain just as fast as higher rated ones. Let's hope they fix it soon cause it feels extremely grindy right from the start.

While I haven't played enough to get to Expert AI yet, the Experienced AI is still pretty easy to beat. I've been winning by 5+ seconds in most races and even my wife who barely plays games in general was able to pull out a 6th place finish and was in 4th for a good portion of the race she tried.

This was with a TT RS. With the Mustang I'm still several seconds ahead on average but it's a bit closer in general since video games can never seem to balance RWD and AWD properly.

The game balancing is weird some races that are in the rain for example are super easy because the AI dont know how to drive in Rain

The cheap AI is ruining an otherwise entertaining title. They are not subject to any kind of real world restrictions, even though my car is the maximum it can be for a given race, the AI just pull ahead as if I am in a Robin Reliant. This was not play tested correctly. Hard is great, cheap is not.

look at the leaderboard and you will see the best car in each class

It's not just the starter car trust me. I just spent over 2mill on late to end game car and still can't win a race as the AI is just bs (in most races)
