100%. It's frustrating trying to progress. Every race is painful past level 20.
They need to sort it fairly quickly. The launch has done enough damage. Underneath, there could an excellent game here, and a worthy successor to TDU 1 & 2.
Oh I dunno bout that, I think it has a heck of a long way to go before it can be considered a solid successor to the franchise (houses & commercial real estate to buy, casino, other social places to interact, higher amounts of players allowed per server, live social events, having to EARN Fast Travel instead of it being given to you so early in the game, etc, etc)
Yep, has a looong way to go, but fixing the AI will be a necessary place to begin post release with their first patch.
I agree, it's integral to the TDU DNA. I do really hope they get it right.
Just the way the game is atm. I don't want a cakewalk, but I don't want the AI to be unstoppable either. Hopefully they have some good updates for us.
It's weird it works like this. Just give the playerbase a choice, then everyone would be happy. Expert AI definitely cheats, they plough into obstacles and don't slow down.
It's unbelievable and laughable at the same time. Even if you do manage to get a bit of a lead. Any straight road they almost like rubberband straight to you and pass you by.
