I find the lack of the Asian and Japanese markets being severely lacking considering this is taking place in Hong Kong.
The locale was selected based on a very specific set of parameters, but not based on the culture or how it fit with the direction of the game world.

For the record, Forza Horizon 5 has enough Chinese cars to justify it being set in West Taiwan had the devs chose so.
Apparently, 100 to be exact, I've been trying to figure this out too. But based on the loading screens it seems inventory refreshes on the showrooms every so often, don't know how much. I noticed there was a Lamborghini Diablo on a loading screen, swore there was one, but not to be found anywhere for me.
Wish there was more explanation about this unless I overlooked it.
The Asian cars showroom certainly doesn't refresh very often.
There are plenty of low end and normal cars. Just not any Japanese ones.
