I Like it!
So far I love the demo. Played TDU1 constantly back in the day and this has that same feel. Great steering on a keyboard. Great music. Gorgeous looking cars. I remember lots of weird issues in TDU1 but loved the game regardless. I love racers and I love the feel of cruising around town in a flash car. This game feels like its going to cover both.
Played the demo on PC. Will very likely buy it on PS5 so I can relax on the couch and cruise around. Can't wait to see the final product!

Game looks & runs fine for most people, stop being so desperate to bash it

Game is a joke for most people, except kids play with keyboard and say it himself "Great steering on a keyboard". Now we have even lower standard than gamepad kids, what's next?

Most people are actually fine with it, except for the expectation gap for the assets quality, but even more people than most of the people aren't, they can't start the game right away.

Should the defender guys like you blame them too desperate to bash?

Think about what they're expecting
- Rendering racing / driving scenes like Asphalt, FH or even Beam.NG.
- 1080p low picture quality but rather smooth gaming like APEX Legend even with hardware like i5-7400 or GTX1060 (I don't play APEX but it's seems like that)

TDU:SC fulfilled none.
The rendering is ❤️❤️❤️❤️, road designs and buildings are generic and low-res across the board
Despite that the lowest setting eating up 9GB of VRAMs and people have only 2-3GB VRAMs with old cards / APUs can't even start the game

And people had TDU1, TDU2 experience keep saying that the TDU1 / 2 experience was decent just raised the expectations for the new people, hope they can see the well received TDU1 / 2 having a 2024-ish upgrade, the result is TDU:SC can't keep up with that.

AND IT'D BE BETTER TO HAVE REMASTERED TDU1 / TDU2 FOR THE 2K / 4K PEOPLE INSTEAD OF CURRENT TDU:SC SERIOUSLY

I like the game too. It does have TDU1 feel imo. But its always online, mmo, no offline single player. Its not gonna be a popular game so after 2-3 years servers will be permanently down.

This might just be wishful thinking on my part, but they dont strike me as the kind of developer that can AFFORD to just axe their game and with that severely hurt their own name, they dont have the money to combat that bad press with advertisement like Ubisoft EA R* etc can do.

They would be much more likely to do the thing that most smaller studio's do when they end a live-service game & that's to release a patch that cuts out the live service bit and gives us the rest as singleplayer-only game

This is all a bit premature tho, we are 3 months prior to the release date, we should give them some time (like, at least several months after release) before we can start making assumptions about which way this will go.

Agree. I hope you are right and i am very wrong. Looks like game is gonna be good and I don't want or wish it to fail.

Som1 like it som1 dont. Personally i am fine with demo,ye ik sometimes is annoying when server breaks in middle of race, but last 2 times i had sessions opened more than 6h. Finished demo now (only need to find 6 more wrecks, but i think they are in closed sections coz iexplore 95% of road) w8ing for full game. I have 3090 and agree that before game gets out 4090 will be needed if wanna better detail, altough runs smooth on this card.
