Let us play OFFLINE
"can't connect to lobby"
"queue 300/300"
what happened to good old cruising Hawai at our own pace ?
Minding our own business
Not having to create an account
Not having to deal with the bad quality of your servers...

I don't understand the point of having a mandatory connexion, do you have to drive people away ? Because that's how you drive people away

Would have expected companies to take note from the Helldivers 2 controversy when it comes to account making.

Simple , they're scared it'll get pirated and so that 3rd party crap gets pushed at the player.
Little do they know , modders and programmers will find a fix around it.
I think i am all set with this game. Broken Demo won't even play.

Dude, if they had gone with an offline model, then the crack organization would have had countless copies of the game popping up and sales plummeting within a dozen hours of release! That's the only way the original is guaranteed, and that's online gaming
I hope that in the final version of the game they will make it possible to play offline, otherwise this is nonsense.

What the hell is this? TO ENETER MENU I have to wait for 400 people to stop playing. Always online = no buy. You are making games sick for cancer.

I feel like I'm playing some older game. I know it's only a demo and not finished but it's not holding my interest. Also playing offline would be nice. Thank you for letting me play before I think about buying.

Yeah right, whilst Elden Ring can be played offline, doesn't even have Denuvo in it, had been pirated left and right, and still sold copies like crazy.

Not to mention GOG exists and is profitable.

You're either delusional, or a troll. Either way, you deserve that Clown award.

Yes, we need offline mode. Otherwise won't buy. I don't want my game to be unplayable after a couple years, sorry...

Witcher 3, no DRM, record sales
Cyberpunk 2077, no DRM, record sales
Baldur's Gate 3, no DRM, record sales

You see, when your game is good, people will pay for it, so DRM that gets cracked even before launch and only disrupts legitimate users is not needed.

Guys, since you clearly haven't paid any attention, its pretty obvious that this "demo" is a test of their back-end, they are getting ready for release after like 8+ years of work or something, maybe accept that there actually are queues of people that waited years for this & want to try the demo, or that they are currently building up the actual back-end based on our first experiences?

On top of that the complaints about creating an account here and elsewhere are just plain bonkers, do you people not have a steam account? ea account? ubisoft account? rockstar account? how about netflix and spotify etc?

They want to be able to send you emails about the game, if you dont want them you can simply disable those emails after account creation. I dont see why people need to cry about an account creation when 8 out of 10 multiplayer games today all have their own bespoke accounts, did none of you buy any multiplayer games in the past 5 or so years?

"maybe accept that there actually are queues of people that waited years for this & want to try the demo, or that they are currently building up the actual back-end based on our first experiences?"

No i dont accept it. If it would be offline, there would be no queues, simple.

"On top of that the complaints about creating an account here and elsewhere"

And because of we have ton of accounts, we dont want more. We dont need any more stupid launchers that are here just to add more clicks before playing, same as we dont need additional accounts, jut to play the game (!). IF they would want you to create 10 accounts, you would habe no problem with that, right?

"They want to be able to send you emails about the game, if you dont want them you can simply disable those emails after account creation" No need for additional account, no need for always online, no need for disabling anything.

They overcomplicating process for players to enjoy their game, thats simple as that.
