In TDU 1 and TDU 2, being chased by the police and receiving speeding fines added an extra thrill to every race. It encouraged players to either adhere to driving rules or take calculated risks, thus enriching the gaming experience. Unfortunately, TDU Solar Crown seems to have overlooked this aspect, diminishing the realism and adrenaline that we expected.
Additionally, the ability to sell and buy used cars offered an interesting economic dimension, allowing players to manage their garage and make deals. The absence of this feature in the TDU Solar Crown demo leaves a noticeable gap in the gameplay.
We hope that the official version of TDU Solar Crown will address these shortcomings and reintegrate these essential elements to satisfy longtime fans of the franchise.
Would argue that the police were one of the worst aspects of TDU1&2 because they didnt add to the gameplay, they were pretty unfair, unkillable, immovable tanks with strong rubber band / high spawn rates.
