Meh car list.

I think the car list is just not a seller for me when compared to other racing games, even the old Test Drive games. A good chunk can be found in Forza Horizon 5 and a handful in even Forza Motorsport 4. I get this is a "Small Taste" of this bigger car list but this free sample is not exciting. The point of new racing games is to experience modern day cars and even if they do feature older cars, there usually better in quality and/or never seen in any other game at that point.

Also the point of walking into a new dealership, is to buy a new car. One of 3 cars to buy was a 2011 Nissan 370z, like really. If it was a used dealership fine, but new? It was less insulting then the brand new 2009 Nissan GTR! To give it credit, a good chunk of the cars in that dealership were from 2018 but that was 6 years ago. In the older Test Drive games, most offered new cars and even concept cars. There was "old" cars, but you weren't able to change the color (If I remember right). I mean sure the Forza titles did offer "brand new" old cars but it felt more like library/collection rather then offering a real life like experience of buying a car.

Using the 2006 Ford GT as pre-order content is just awful value to hook you in. It's a good car don't get me wrong but its been featured in a lot of racing games already.

This game feels like The Crew and Forza Horizon 5 merged together and had the Test Drive branding slapped on it. The forced online experience is a sour taste that'll never go away and this game is not gonna be pretty when the servers shut down. I'm sorry I just don't have hope in this title.

I'm surprised that Aston Martin DB11 is cheaper than that Nissan GTR to be honest.
