But no, they go the "main stream" road, just badly optimized...
Then you look at someone like the dev from JDM (Japanese Drift Master) and wonder what they could´ve pulled off with a team of 40+ ... Sad times really.
The map is HILARIOUSLY smaller than I expected. You can begin at the furthest east of the map available, and reach the west, well under 10 minutes or at least close to.
Vs TDU1 and 2 where it would take AGES but it was fun to do so.
Even the crew motorfest is larger if that says anything.. sheesh
Livery editor is also a bit more limited than the one from TDU2, but more convenient.
I'd repeatedly listen to Daddy was a DJ or my favorite Ghetto Burnin rather than this list of music.
The AI can't handle cliff-hill races during wet conditions, and against upcoming traffic.
The Street Crew race turns into a hilarious derby at the start due to above, it's kind of baffling, so they compensate the "Crew Racers" by giving them better torque/performance than you.. by "vehicle gear score".
And of course, "gear score". The "MMO-ification" of every genre. If you think looting is gonna make me "addicted" then.. already been there, done that, and I'm bored of it yeaaars ago.
Uncommon Car, Common Car, Rare, Legendary Car? What happened to exploring and discovering roads to raise the Discovery Rank, in which they let you upgrade the performance of your vehicles like Lv1-2-3-4?
Who is this game designed to cater to, really?
Sad reality. I totally agree. Tried my best with th demo for 5 hours and nahh.
Unoptimised, buggy, shallow cash grab that hopes for nostalgia buyers.
Yes, exactly. The game tries to live entirely off the nostalgia vibe. It somehow reminds me of so many things in everyday life. Many companies buy the brand rights of some forgotten or popular dead brand, make a new product, slap one of these names on it and hope for the best...
Dear lord, I remember doing the A6-A7 driving school where you have to drive a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Aston Martin up a wet road, it was a genuine ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Good luck staying on tarmac straight on that one.
and is better than all the crew, forza horizon, need for speed all togheter
