Who green-lit this demo? This could've been the best advertisement you could've done but no, this build does the opposite. It runs EXTREMELY bad, there's just no way around it. It not like you say refining the quality/performance, it needs a complete and absolute focus.
DLSS & FSR are both broken, blurry as heck and do close to nothing. Modern hardware, fast hardware, overkill hardware, older hardware, it all struggles to maintain 40fps. that's 1/3rd of what is expected from a game of this size and graphical fidelity.
Forza easily reaches a stable 120fps on most decent hardware, The Crew MF while locked, only uses about half my gpu, so it would get a solid 100+fps if unlocked. On console competitors, nfs, forza, the crew all hit 60fps stable. This is a big investment for your studio, I don't think you can afford to launch it like this.
Ye sorry but the aim should be to figure out how to triple native performance (no ai copium) with minimal loss of visuals. I would strongly argue against releasing September, just delay it with 1 more year, it's clearly not close to being ready.
And also, I would STRONGLY reconsider the multiplayer only races and always online aspect. It drops the value of your software to that of a renting service like Netflix or Gamepass, 10 bucks at best, some dlc over time but in no way a 50euro upfront cost.. -- and it has to be Forza quality otherwise, well we can already rent Forza with offline support. There is no way after The Crew loss in my library I'm paying anything more for a rental.
Ye this is bull. I have 2 pcs, or rather me and my spouse, one with a 3080ti and one with a 4070ti. Both superior cpu and ram specs. One on 3440x1440p and one on a regular 1440p, neither despite having better specs, come even close to 60fps.
Go buy Forza 5 instead, the experience is so much better then this.
Won't be buying the game if this demo represents it.
However, there's a very, very big optimization problem (at least on PC for now), in fact I don't think I've ever seen a game so poorly optimized. I know you're a small studio and don't have the colossal resources of a AAA title, but something absolutely must be done, otherwise you'll be depriving yourself of a large proportion of gamers who don't have the necessary configuration to play the game in decent conditions.
We're still a few months away from release, so apart from a few bug fixes, the game is in its final form. Please concentrate on this one point, your game looks very promising.
How about loading saved game bug????
I keep getting pink textures on buildings and white on raods too. Like the lighting is breaking.
