Asia server all down atm
I've played this 4 times since 1st demo day and had one failed login yesterday but just pressed enter and got straight in after a few seconds.
I'm in Europe so check your region.
same i even created a stupid account with them linked it to steam and reinstalled it and now my 980 pro wants to kill me in my sleep for putting the dumpster fire on it
Oh so NOW you suddenly do wanna be in the EU? 🤔
Sorry lol, just laughing at UK 🤣
Try the region stuff that ppl are saying above, if it helps some ppl 'far away' from Europe it might help you as well 🤷♂️
Just restarted my pc, and only started this game, then it logged in 1st try, then tried again just to make sure, and then 3rd try i got in a queue which put me in the game!
I'm in the China region and once I completed a series of settings, I was able to log in and play instantly! It turns out it's not a server crashed or congested, but a region restriction! Here's how to set it up exactly:
Tips: I'm not sure if each step is necessary, but to be on the safe side please set it up the way I did!
1. Windows "Display language" and "Region" are set to USA / UK or France... Some mainstream countries (I set it to USA) and then restart your computer~
2. Steam's "Country" and "Display language" are set to USA / UK or France~
3. Jump to Steam's "TDU Solar Crown" store purchase page, in the middle part on the right side, you'll see orange letters ("MyNacon account" and "EULA"), if you want to play game, go ahead and complete it (though inside you're not happy -_-||#)
4. ⭐ I think the most important setting is to set in-game language to English❗
go to Steam's Library page, right mouse click on the "TDU Solar Crown Demo" on the left side, go to "General" on the "Properties" page and set the game language to English! (I was not able to login even after all the above steps were completed because I did not set it here, but once I finished this setting, I was able to logined and start playing almost instantly~ there is no waiting and no queuing >.<ii~)
5.If you happen to be in a banned region, use a VPN and set network to the US/UK or France as described above.
❗The language is too raw and incoherent, so please forgive me for using a translation tool( ahahaha... @,@i# )
💡Than,Summary and advice:
The above settings may seem tedious to those aren't huge fans of Tdu,But I'm just trying to describe it in as much detail as possible for fear that you won't understand, and the steps aren't really that tedious! You can totally get it all set up in 5 minutes, which is a lot faster than logging in over and over again in frustration!...
The game experience no good, I learned about the publisher and developer of the game, the developer is a subsidiary of the publisher, the developer used to be the development team of the WRC rally racing game. The overall performance of the game: game quality, UI, style of the art, physics system, gameplay, etc... TDU Solar Crown is the style of their team, and when I found out that they have recently released a very hot “Taxi Life City Driving Simulator” which is a driving simulation game, it made me feel that the style of TDU Solar Crown is very similar to their racing game style. No longer the richness and finesse of TDU1, nor the delicacy and nobility of TDU2, but a relatively cheap feeling~
Although we say that the optimization in high resolution is very poor, but my i7-7900K +2080Ti(12GB RAM) + 32GB RAM can run the highest video quality at 1080P 50FPS~
But the good thing is that the game has a lot of setting options, not only the video quality setting options are many, the game aspects and control settings are very rich, which has WRC racing games style, this my favorite place~~
I give the rating(10/10 points):
TDU1 - 9.2 points (at 2007) Amazing !!! (new driving game style)
TDU2 - 9.6 points (at 2011) Fine and advanced !! too big maps !! (two islands)
TDU3 - (Demo) - 6.5 points (2024) ....(cheap~ steering wheel only turn 25 degrees.... joke? o-oii? )
TDU3 - 7~7.5 points (maybe~)
The above is just my personal evaluation. As a loyal player who has loved TDU for nearly 17 years, I still thank the development team of TDU3. You may have done your best, and thank you for bringing us a different TDU(Although it has not reached the expected level, perhaps due to short development time or other reasons), it is still a good game. You can drive around, and the values and focus of the game still maintain the TDU's usual style.
This is my relatively objective evaluation. If there are any shortcomings, please understand. Finally, thank you❤~
