Absolutely. After all the talks about what made the old games good and how they, the devs, are bringing the same experience to the new game, we actually get important aspects cut out of the game and the whole focus of the game changed to a PVP live service with weekly schedules.

Nowadays, when software is available in practically infinite quantities through online distribution, I think pre-orders are extremely silly. Especially months in advance. And when you also consider the state in which most games are released today, even more so.

Rourou, people bought beta games online only, and if the game was a disaster or less buyer than they thinking, server will close after few years.
So a new kind of game will appear, like a car you will buy, and dealer take it back after few years.

People don't have brains, and when they will open eyes, it will be too late.

Don't buy until review and neutral YouTubers.

Yep exactly, i know will not be like old school TDU( with stupid battle pass, micro transactions, and on-line only) , but men i miss my test drive. Like 2042 is a bad bf game , but i play it because is give me good vibes and nostalgia for old bf games.
I'm sure 90% that this game eill not be that good like TDU2 , but if will reteins the feeling of tdu games im happy , and play it for the nostalgia of old times.
Don't really understand the negative posts. I'm fully aware of this game , and problems it have ( no houses, no police, no casino ).
And i think im the only one ho pre-order the game rite now after they announced the lunchtime.

Enjoy it, but this isn't anything like your childhood racing game. Spoiler... TDU 1 and 2 are still playable and still lots of fun after all these years.

i bought the standard edition.... i have no regret even if at the end the game is a crap....i wait it since 4 or 5 year i even dont remember...
