Why the enemy's HP PC version will automatically recover? This cannot continue the game!

Kamiriya, thanks for picking up the game. The pc is revised edition. If this is your first time playing aeternoblade 2, we suggest a lower difficulty setting (the ridgerode militia difficulty is a good start) as the enemy hp regeneration is significantly lower and player deal much more damage. The game will be much less frustrating in lower difficulty level. For higher difficulty levels, were designed for ab2 veterans which is more challenging than original console version.
Getting past through this shielded soldier in higher difficulty level requires proper counter attack or parry or both. Bernard is the character with very powerful counter. In knight of chronosia difficulty setting, Try perfect dodge and wait for the moment that Bernard weapon flashes yellow then press the attack button to execute flaming critical attack.

It is also possible kill this solider with a pincer counter which is extremely powerful.
To perform a pincer counter you will need to attack on one side then perfect dodge the enemy attack with forward blink to swap to another side and counter by holding your primary attack button or late pressing the button to get a huge damage boost from both counter and pincer

Are you sure? This is a common difficulty, a soldier to play only 1 minute, other platforms and don't have the monthly bleeding mechanism, why the PC will be?

A boss battle, the 10% need to fight to death, wild hp 35 per second, and cause damage only 10 +!

The hp regen mechanic serve many purposes in ab2 director rewind version. We admit that it can be very frustrating at first and turn our players away; however, we still add it anyway. It was a tough decision but we believe this worth the risk.
First as tutorials for various mechanics in the game. For new player to learn perfect dodging, pincer attacking, how to effectively use of time skills.
Secondly we add this mechanic to train our players to play aggressively in high risk high reward play style to bring the most out of this game.
Thirdly, The hp regen mechanic may seem cheating at first but when the enemy is at critical health. They are much easier to be perfect dodge and countered or even chain countered. Counter attacking them deal tons more damage than previous version and likely to obliterate all other victims nearby. This also leads to multiple strategic decision such as intentionally exploiting near death easy to counter character to help dealing more damage to mob.
Regen mechanics is also designed to compliment player’s time skills and make each fight a puzzle to solve in higher difficulty settings.

Kamiriya, it is easier to perfect dodge when your enemy is regenerating. In normal difficulty setting, Bernard late counter can deal 200 damage which instantly kill the near death enemy

There are 3 types of counters for Bernard.
Pressing attack button immediately after a perfect dodge for a fast but low damage counter.
Holding attack button immediately after a perfect dodge for a knockback medium damage counter.
Late pressing attack button when his weapon flashes after a perfect dodge for his most powerful counter in usual condition.

I’m sorry kamiriya. We considered to add a no regen patch option soon for ab2 original players after receiving many feedback on this issue.

I know that you certainly have a way you can achieve, but a ARPG, is not only a game, players play method is diverse, not out of the same model schools. Pay attention to fight back is very good, but forcing players to play, is foolish.
