Yes, in the final version we have added two menus to manage the scalability of the game, one focused on the display, resolution and framerate and the other on the graphic quality offering the possibility to configure not only global settings but also specific ones (shadows, post-processing, textures, etc...)
Unfortunately this is something that we have not included in the demo. We are working on getting the best experience for the widest range of setups.
It is a known issue with the Unreal Engine, many Games recently had it (like Calisto Protocoll or Jedi Survivor), even on high end machines. Turning down details did NOT solve it for them, so please look into it, as it is quite annoying and immersion breaking.
