Here's a helpful hint that can help you get past this part: The planes will never crash on their first appearance on the map, no matter how close they seem to get to one another. This is of course provided you don't manually veer any planes into the path of another.
But the first time they appear, if you don't touch anything, they will not hit one another. After they've made a turn, however, it's all... up in the air...
Hope this helps!

You should be able to land most of the planes with a few crashes (and complete the level) before time runs out, but landing all the planes with no crashes is possible (albeit difficult). If you do manage it however, you get rewarded with a different PuffPeace article.
The frustration is that it's not a puzzle. You know what to do, you just can't. Maybe have the check mark lower on subsequent failures?
I can look into this. Thanks for the feedback!
It's been a long time since you posted this reply, but I just wanted to pop here to agree with the original poster: this bit of the game it not fun. The core game mechanic was analytic puzzling, but in this level, no amount of trying to "reason it out" gets you anywhere: if you're no good at keeping eye on countless moving objects at once, no amount of "thinking" helps you progress. I just tried the level for the many-th time and it's pure stress only, no enjoyment, and so after crashing planes on the final difficulty again, I just instinctively shut down the game and say "I hate this" out loud, and it makes me not want to play anymore, which is unfortunate because I liked everything else.
Really wish there was the option to decrease plane speed or anything to decrease the difficulty here.
